Experts recommand to consume about 1g of Acerola per day. Indeed, the Acerola being rich in vitamin C, 10g of vitamin C per 100g of Acerola, and knowing it is good for us to consume 80mg of vitamin C per day, 1g of Acerola is sufficient to give us the recommanded daily dose.

Vitamin C has an important role to play in our immune system, then taking Acerola treatment in winter can be very usefull to avoid some colds!

Our tip: put 2 or 4 tablespoons of Acerola in 1L of water and drink it all day long.

L'origine de l'acerola valebio

Acerola is the fruit of a little tree of the same name. The fruit is used by the Indian of Amazonia since a long time ago to treat diarrhea and dysentery. The name "Acerola" has been given by the Spanish Conquistadors in the XVIth Century. The Acerola's juice was used by them to prevent from the scurvy. But scientific analysis only started in 1950 because it was the beginning of its consumption as a food supplement.

Our Acerola is cultivated in an environment without any pesticides and fertilizers. 
Once they have been harvested, fruits are pasterized, frozen and lyophilized. Time during which lyophilization allows the fruit to get rid of its humidity. This way, the fruit can preserve its nutrients.
